Ramya Swaminathan

Ramya Swaminathan led the spin-out of Malta Inc. from Alphabet's Moonshot Factory (formerly Google X) in 2018 and has been the company’s CEO since its founding. In addition to serving as a Director of Energy Storage Canada, she sits on the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) Electricity Advisory Committee, the U.S. Department of Commerce’s (DOC) Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Advisory Committee, and the Women’s Energy Network Boston Executive Advisory Committee. She is a DOE Clean Energy Education & Empowerment (C3E) Initiative Ambassador, a DOC Select Global Women in Tech Mentor, and an Unreasonable Impact Americas Fellow
