Chad Laurent, Esq. is a Principal at Cadmus with over 20 years of experience supporting clients with clean energy, energy efficiency and decarbonization efforts. He helps policymakers, executives, and community leaders drive forward energy and climate policies, programs, and projects across the U.S. and internationally. Before joining Cadmus he was a Vice President at Meister Consultants Group where he lead the firm’s clean energy practice and served as general counsel. He holds a Juris Doctor from Suffolk University Law School where he was a Rappaport Honors Fellow in Law and Public Policy (in collaboration with the Rappaport Institute for Greater Boston at Harvard University), and a B.S. from the University of Michigan in Environmental Policy & Behavior and Natural Resource Ecology & Management. He is a certified Project Management Professional, a professionally trained mediator and facilitator, and is admitted to the Massachusetts Bar.
