Joseph Couture

Joseph Couture is the Regional Information Security Officer for Ørsted America, where he oversees the cybersecurity program in the region as Ørsted seeks to deploy an additional 5 gigawatts of offshore wind capacity in the United States in the coming years. Joseph works with his peers in Europe and Asia to help Ørsted deploy 30GW of offshore capacity by 2030 and build a world that runs entirely on green energy. 

Before arriving at Ørsted, Joseph was the Senior Cybersecurity Officer for National Grid, and the Vice President of Information Technology at Atlantic Power and Utilities.

Joseph is a 2017 graduate of Northeastern University and received his M.S. in Information Systems from Boston University in 2020. When not traveling to renewable energy projects across the globe, Joseph enjoys cycling, eating, and golfing with his wife.
